Kaitlin Meilert joined the firm in fall of 2019, and is a Legal Assistant. She earned her B.A. in English Writing & Rhetoric from St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX in 2010. She spent four years as both a staff and freelance copywriter for various e-commerce companies before embarking on a three-year adventure in fulfillment for a tech startup. With a background in writing, editing, and order fulfillment, Kaitlin brings writing adaptability, a sharp eye for detail, and a knack for organization that make her a natural word wrangler and scheduling ninja.

Kaitlin was born and raised in Houston, TX. After living in Austin, Denver, Flagstaff, and Phoenix, she is settling comfortably into life in Minneapolis with her partner and their regal cat, Spart – Minnesota winters and all! A prolific poet by night, Kaitlin self-published her debut poetry book in February 2019 and continues to share her poetry regularly on social media. Outside of work and writing, she spends her time reading, cooking/baking, traveling, doing yoga, creating social media content for a local farm animal sanctuary, going for walks along Minnehaha Creek, and capping off a work week with Netflix and a glass of rosé.
