When she is not working, Kate enjoys spending time exploring Minnesota on day-trips with her husband and two young kids, gardening (albeit at a novice level), cooking meals inspired by online recipe perusing and volunteering weekly at her local food shelf. She also loves reading psychological thrillers and memoirs.
